Southwest Florida College was purchased in 2004. They were looking to breathe a fresh new look into their identity. Chip Mcelroy created a modern, fresh look for their brand incorporating the traditional symbols of academia with half of the "compass" mark that was so well know from the previous SWFC brand mark.
